Wan Tai Hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights during the Typhoon Kong Re, 30/10 & 31/10/2024. We got free upgrade to two double bed, which we greatly appreciate. Room is good size . Toilet has no partition for bathing hence after shower it's wet. (My personal opinion, Would be good to just install the partition ) Maybe could provide more clothes hanger in the room too. Breakfast on both morning are identical. There's bread , fruits, porridge , noodles , sweet potatoes & pumpkins. The lady attending to us is very friendly. Breakfast location on 2nd floor has good view, providing us with good place to do people watching till 9.30am on typhoon day. It's some 10mins walk to the nearby night market. And had many eating places nearby. Receptionist are very friendly. Most importantly, it has no musty smell ! Limited Parking is available. Good stay in room 708& 705. Unfortunately, we don't have photos of the room , but we hv others to share. Lol

Very clean, good price, great breakfast! The bathroom was a bit uncomfortable, because the toilet didn’t work properly and the shower handle leaking.

Enjoyed two days in this hotel: helpful and friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, newly renovated and very clean rooms, breakfast of a good quality even with freshly brewed coffee, area with many restaurants around and in walking distance to the train station. Thanks to the manager who assisted us even more than we ever would have asked for! Highly recommended :)

Very welcoming front desk. though onsite parking lots are limited, helpful staff is available to assist on parking. Overall good experience.

The best value for money and good service hotel in Chiayi.

Stayed here 2 nights. Overall its a good experience. Room is comfortable & staffs are super helpful, nice, friendly. At the beginning the air conditioning was freezing in the room, we called the receptionist and the staff came instructed us to turn off the fan + brought us an additional blanket in case, then the room was warm-up. The position is not very near the main station. However you could easily take a taxi to there just 100twd. There are food stores nearby which is pretty convenient. Cons: the breakfast was not very delicious to our taste. Its kind of vegetarian breakfast. Moreover if the room could have more hangers it would be great.

前天入住萬泰大飯店，整體體驗比預期好很多！ 雖然是老式飯店，但內部有重新整新，環境乾淨整潔，住起來很舒服 重點是性價比真的超高，星期五晚上入住含早餐含停車（汽車）居然不到 1500 元，真的有點誇張 缺點是房間是木門，所以隔音比較差，但是這個價格已經超級可以了！！ 水壓的部分很OK、熱水也不會忽冷忽熱很OK 櫃檯服務人員都很親切、態度很好 停車部分，樓下騎樓車位不多，但停在外面的停車格一樣有補助，算是很貼心 早餐是清粥小菜，但表現完全不馬虎，口味都不錯，牛奶還是直接給一大罐瑞穗鮮乳，這點真的加分！ 另外，退房時間居然可以到 12 點，對住客來說超友善。 以這個價格和整體品質來說，真的會讓人想再回訪，CP 值超高。

Good value for early booking as I found the price raised up on the same day due to the long weekend. The hotel is old but so far it is clean and tidy. Breakfast is simple but good enough with choices. 10-15 mins walks to the night street. The air-conditioning can't really adjust the temperature but only the wind, there is a kettle but missing the charging part. You need to get water from the dispenser outside the room or other floor which is available.
